For Immediate Release – Lawton, OK, Jan. 25, 2006 Cameron to name a Cameron Village apartment building in honor of McCasland Foundation Cameron University President Cindy Ross is proud to announce a Cameron Village apartment building has been named McCasland Hall in recognition of the generous contributions the McCasland Foundation of Duncan has made to the university through the last two decades. The University of Oklahoma, Cameron University and Rogers State University Board of Regents, CU’s governing body, unanimously approved the action during Wednesday’s regularly scheduled meeting in Norman. “For more than 20 years, the McCasland Foundation has selflessly invested in the lives of Cameron University’s students,” Ross said. “McCasland Hall will stand as a lasting monument to a foundation that has provided countless opportunities for CU students in Duncan, Lawton and throughout Southwest Oklahoma.” Barbara Braught, Executive Director of the McCasland Foundation, said the foundation was honored by the recognition. “This is a great distinction, one that the McCasland Foundation will cherish,” Braught said. “The McCasland Foundation is proud of its relationship with Cameron University.
