CU’s Brewczynski Endowed Chair named
to editorial post with international journal
Dr. Shawn Carraher stays busy.
Carraher, who currently holds Cameron University’s Virginia Brewczynski Endowed Chair, was named to
the editorial board of an international scientific journal, the Baltic Journal of Management.
The Baltic Journal of Management, a publication of the Baltic Management Development Association, is the
first attempt to unify efforts of the scientist researching management issues in the Baltic region. The
journal’s purpose is to deliver high scientific levels of knowledge with applied national and international
research in a way that will create opportunities for development of new innovative ideas across Europe and
the rest of the world.
Carraher joins the editorial board along with researchers from Western Europe, Lithuania, Latvia and
Estonia.
Carraher also holds board positions for the Academy of Global Business Advancement Journal, Journal of
Business Strategies, Journal of Business & Entrepreneurship, the Academy of Entrepreneurship Journal,
Journal of Small Business Strategy, Journal of Applied Management & Entrepreneurship, Academy of
Strategic Management Journal, Personnel Review, Journal of Small Business Management, Cornell Hotel
& Restaurant Administration Quarterly, Journal of Management History and International Journal of Family
Business.

Carraher earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic University, his
master’s in business from the University of Cincinnati and a doctorate degree in business administration
from the University of Oklahoma. He came to Cameron University from Texas A&M-Commerce at the
beginning of the Fall 2004 semester.
