The parties to the former agreements are Transmission Owners and the parties to the latter agreements are Reliability Coordinators. 5 1. 6 HTQ is party to Asset Owner Agreements with: 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 Asset Owner Agreements (a) (b) (c) (d) These agreements provide that the parties will establish an asset owners committee and will meet regularly. Except with respect to NYPA, these committees meet twice a year. The purpose of the agreement is as follows: 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 Hydro-One Networks (Ontario) New York Power Authority (NYPA) Velco (Vermont) National Grid (New England) 2.1 The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain the reliability, operability, and Nominal Transfer Capability of the Interconnection Facilities through coordinated operation, inspection, maintenance, planning, metering, and upgrades of the Interconnection Facilities by the Asset Owners and their Designated Operators. The parties hold discussions as transmission asset owners. Therefore, the objects of the discussions are asset maintenance, condition of the assets and projects that could affect the interconnections. These committees meet twice a year. The purpose of the agreement is as follows: 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 2.1 The purpose of this Agreement is to provide for the reliability and operability of the Interconnection Facilities in conjunction with the Interconnected Systems and through coordinated scheduling of the Interconnection Facilities. The purpose of this Agreement is also to provide for Emergency Service and Inadvertent Interchange accounting and procedures between the Interconnected Systems. During these meetings, the parties discuss the problems they face and seek to find solutions to their concerns and difficulties.The objects of the discussions will focus on issues affecting interconnection operation.
