RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH A
MEMORIAL DEDICATED TO DECEASED
MEMBERS OF THE WCU FACULTY
WHEREAS the faculty of Western Carolina University desire to recognize deceased
members of the faculty; and
WHEREAS the faculty of Western Carolina University believe the most appropriate
way to honor said deceased members of the faculty is to establish a
memorial to commemorate their service and dedication to Western
Carolina University; and
WHEREAS the faculty of Western Carolina University request said memorial be
located in an appropriate place on the Western Carolina University
campus.
THEREFORE the faculty of Western Carolina University do hereby propose that a
committee be formed for the purpose of designing said deceased faculty
memorial; selecting an appropriate location on the Western Carolina
University campus; and creating an implementation plan to establish said
faculty memorial including specific requirements for inclusion in the
memorial.
