A RESOLUTION OF THE WESTERN CAROLINA UNIVERSITY FACULTY SENATE
Whereas, the UNC Faculty Assembly has adopted changes to its Charter in order to
establish a fixed size for the Assembly by placing the distribution of delegates on a system
which is based on the percentage of system-wide faculty present on an individual campus
and to deal with other matters related to membership in the Assembly, and
Whereas, the Charter of the UNC Faculty Assembly requires that such changes be ratified
by the Faculty Senates on the constituent institutions of the UNC System,
Be it therefore resolved, that the Western Carolina University Faculty Senate hereby
ratifies these changes and authorizes the President of the Senate to transmit this fact to the
Chair of the UNC Faculty Assembly.
