We welcome your comments, reactions, and suggestions as a means of improving future editions. HIGHLIGHTS • The University enrolled 9,318 students in the Summer semester. • Ten (10) percent of students were full-time and ninety (90) percent attended part-time. • Undergraduates represented 80% of total enrollment. • Ninety-three (93) percent of all students were Tennessee residents. • Minority students represented 22% of the University’s enrollment. • Women were a majority at the University, accounting for 57% of enrollment. • Enrollment of 4,167 adult learners (age 25 and older) constituted 45% of total summer enrollment. • Fifty-four (54) percent of enrolled students participated in at least one alternative-delivery course or attended an off-campus site. • The average age of our summer undergraduate students was 25.
