Announcements
 Dean’s Lecture Series event will take place today at 5:00 PM in H-129.

Diversity Action Committee is asking people to fill out their climate survey.

Submissions to the AIS Newsletter are due by April 1.
 TLTR Committee is offering to tape events on campus.
 The Political Science Search has been completed. The Dean thanked the search committee members.

Volunteers are still need for the Dean’s Reception Event on March 13 th .

Two more faculty volunteers are needed for the SSAIS Student Alumni
Networking Event on March 14.
SBR
 Unit voted to end the SSAIS SBR Committee. SBR applicants will be advised by members of their own convening groups.
 Unit voted to reserve time in Faculty Assembly meetings exclusively for voting faculty members. For this portion of the meeting the Dean excused himself and left the room.

SSAIS Committee on Open Dialogue with the Administration
 Anthony Padovano reported on the committee’s recent work to the Unit. Unit submitted questions and comments to Anthony.
International Education Committee

Natalia Santamaria-Laorden reported on the committee’s recent work to the unit.
 A survey about International Education will be given to members of the Unit for assessment.
ARC

Ed Shannon gave a brief ARC report to the Unit.
Strategic Planning Committee
 Steve Rice presented a Mission Statement that the committee is in the process of working on to the Unit. The Unit submitted questions and comments.
