BackPack Program Fundraiser
During the Spring 2012 semester the Family Centered Community Building II lclass (FCCBII) helped support the “BackPack” programs
in Middle Tennessee Schools. The course, taught by Mrs. Stephanie Bush and Dr. Beth Emery, consisted of 10 students. Fundraisers where
held at Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream Treatery at The Avenue Mall and Papa Boudreaux’s Cajun Café in Franklin, TN. Through donations
raised in town and on the MTSU campus the CDFS program was able to present Wilson County Schools, Murfreesboro City Schools and
Woodland Elementary School each with a check in the amount of $300.00.

The Murfreesboro City Schools Family Resource Center gives BackPacks to
approximately 218 students within ten schools.
