You must attend all of the mandatory events for the BLP in general and for your cohort, and may
attend other seminars on the schedule based on your interest and time availability. Each student
should attend no less than eight (8) events during the semester. If you must miss a mandatory
event you need to secure an excused absence from the Program’s Director prior to the scheduled
event/talk. It is your responsibility to secure verification from either the BLP Director or the
Program’s Student Assistant for each seminar session attended. The completed form is due the
last day of classes.
