SOPHOMORE BLP ADMISSION APPLICATION
Every year several new students may be added to the Business Leadership Program. The
students are only selected after Spring semester grades are posted in late May or June.
Generally, a minimum g.p.a. and active leadership in some activities (either on or off
campus) are necessary to be in the final selection set. The BLP faculty committee will
evaluate your application, grades and leadership activities. You will be informed of the
committee’s decision in June. If you are accepted into the program, you will not have a
problem registering for the required BLP course sections.

Please fill out the above information and attach the following:
1.
Two essays (limit to one page each) a. Why I am interested in the Business Leadership Program and how this program
fits into my educational objectives.
b. Describe your most significant leadership experience or your role as an
exemplary follower in a school or extracurricular activity (100-200 words)
2.
One letter of recommendation from a university faculty.
3.
Your final Spring semester grade report.
4.
If you have attended any other college, please attach an unofficial transcript.
