A semester or a year in an approved immersion study abroad program in a German-speaking country, including an internship or research,
project, is strongly recommended fro GIS majors.
Students must earn a grade of C (2.0) or above in all courses taken for a major or minor in the Department of Foreign Languages and
Literature.
