Initial work, sponsored by Office of the Secretary of Defense, served as the basis of a Congressional Report. More recent projects sponsored by DASD, Reserve Affairs (Youth Programs). Designed analysis strategies to meet sponsors’ needs. Carried out the majority of the data analysis. Worked with sub-­‐contractors and DMDC to procure and match data. Carried out quick-­‐turnaround analyses to examine emerging issues, with a focus on determining which aspects of programs can be linked to participant performance. Developed and fielded survey of ChalleNGe staff; developed surveys of ChalleNGe teachers (to measure classroom practices) and cadets (to measure noncognitive skills). Body Composition Analyses: 2008-­‐2013 Project comparing the performance of Sailors who exceeded the body fat standard at enlistment to other Sailors. Worked successfully with a disparate group of stake-­‐holders within the Navy community. Carried out all analyses on a very limited budget. Provided results on a tight time schedule to support policy makers. Project has resulted in 8 short reports. Raising the Bar: 2010-­‐2011 Project examining educational experiences of military dependents. Responsible for day-­‐to day project management. Managed a team of 12 CNA analysts and 2 sub-­‐contractors. Designed and performed most analyses utilizing DMDC and civilian education data. Coordinated site visits at numerous sites.
