The 34 Annual International Festival

Wednesday April 10
Time: 10:00AM-3:00PM
Throughout its 34 years, the Annual International Festival, or I-Fest, has provided
the WCU community with a unique opportunity, namely, a chance to engage and
explore world cultures and fascinating traditions through a wide range of mediums,
including Food, Music, Dance and Artistry. If you or your department is interested in
hosting a table to highlight certain programs or activities in your department, please
contact Christopher Pedo at copedo@wcu.edu or by phone at 828-227-2557.
Monday, April 15th
The awards ceremony will take place 6-7:30 pm. Guests may also walk through the entry exhibit
between 4-6 pm for a sneak preview of all the wonderful creative works!

Digital Media Festival
DigiX 2013.
Thursday, April 11th - 10:00AM
DigiX is an all-day, digital media and technology focused, event that will
showcase and show off some of the most interesting and engaging ways that
members of the WCU community, and beyond, are utilizing digital media.
On Thursday, April the 11th, the University Center will play host to a variety of
digital media events. In the Grand Room, members of technology-focused
organizations on campus, as well as vendors from cutting-edge digital media
companies like Apple and Dell, will be on hand to demonstrate technology
and its uses.
In Illusions, students in some of WCU’s digital media programs will be exhibiting their work in a student
competition, where the winners will be determined by crowd voting.
In the Multi-Purpose Room, enjoy workshops on technology topics like Blackboard, iLife, and Voicethread.
