repurposed to other units. Finishing touches to the painting of the third floor hallway in Killian are
being completed. The Reid gym floor is almost complete. Work to construct the awning for Killian
has begun. The new electronic classroom in Killian is moving along quickly.
Budgets – House and Senate proposals are far apart and will move to conference. Stay tuned.
Enrollment – Currently deposits are not at the level expected. This trend is being seen across the
country.

meeting at NCCAT on Friday, August 28, 1:00 PM.

Services.

an important part of what we do.

PEDS Report
Renee
PEDS is an annual report, 47 pages in length, submitted by the institution. Renee reviewed highlights
of this report with the Council and provided detail as to how the report has evolved over recent years.
Three sections have been added to the report based on information requests from NCTQ. Generally
speaking when you hear media citing national statistics, this is information being taken from
institutional PEDS reports.
IHE Report
Renee
This year’s IHE report shows a shift in numbers of program completers and licensure completers and
may reflect an increase in the number of students applying directly to other states for licensure postgraduation.
Enrollment for 14-15 was under 1000 for licensable areas; a 44% reduction in enrollment compared to
1777 student enrolled in 2009-2010. Based on current projections for 15-16, a decline in enrollment
may continue.
NCATE Update
Renee
The offsite report has been submitted and reviewed. Indicators look good so far. A conference call with
the evaluation team committee chair and state liaison has been scheduled for Thursday, July 9.
