Martin Cohen
OUTSTANDING ECONOMICS MAJOR
Our outstanding student in Economics for this year is Martin Cohen.
Marty will soon graduate with a double Major in Economics and Finance. He is a member
of the College Honors Program, Captain of Ramapo College Fed Challenge Team, and
Co-Vice President of the Ramapo Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, the International Honor
Society for AACSB Accredited Business Schools.
For the past two years, Marty has served as a Staff Assistant for the Eastern Economics
Association, headquartered at Ramapo College, helping to organize the Association’s
annual conference. Serving in this role, Marty has had the opportunity to have dinner
with three Nobel Prize Laureates in Economics, as well as the CEO of the National
Bureau of Labor Statistics. (I know this, because Marty sometimes invites me to these
dinners.)
