Jacqueline Katz is very active in College and external organizations, she is a Ramapo
student tutor in Biology, Chemistry, Calculus, Physics and Psychology. Jackie performed
research at Ramapo College with Dr. Eric Karlin on the molecular genetics and evolution
of Sphagnum mosses. Jackie is a recipient of a National Science Foundation Noyce
Scholarship to teach at least one year in a high needs school district. Jackie will begin
her graduate studies part time next fall eventually obtaining her Ph.D. degree. She
has been accepted by Drexel University and is awaiting word from NYU and Rutgers
University.
