Kenneth Walsh
Outstanding Student in Information Systems
The Information Systems faculty have awarded Kenneth Walsh the distinction of this
year’s Outstanding Student in Information Systems.
Ken is one of the most energetic students I’ve ever met. He always seems to be running
from one place to another. That could be because he serves as the Captain of both the
Ramapo College Varsity Men’s Cross Country Team and the Men’s Track and Field
Team.
When he’s not running there, he’s running to a meeting of the Computer and Technology
Club or the Ramapo Student Chapter of the Association of Computing Machinery … he
serves as President of both organizations …. Or he is running down to Fort Monmouth
where he has worked as an intern for the U.S. Department of Defense for several years
designing, implementing and testing virtualization solutions for the U.S. Army.
I know for a fact that Ken received at least four offers of full time employment after
graduation. He has chosen to accept an offer from AT&T Wireless where I’m sure he will
be running things before too long.
