Dr. Ben Levy is going present a study abroad info session in the Honors Lounge today from 3:45 - 4:30. This is a required meeting for all 1st and 2nd year Honors students. Dr. Levy will discuss approved programs for honors students and study abroad scholarship funds, including the Hiden Scholarship. This is an incredible opportunity for students considering studying abroad who are in need of additional funds. Tomorrow is the first ever Honors Program Luau! It is from 6-8 pm in the Bischoff/Mackin Volleyball Court! Come enjoy lots of food, beach volleyball, s’mores, a photo booth and more! We hope to see you there! The deadline to complete your Senior Thesis Proposal Form is May 1st, so now is the time to begin thinking about a project topic and faculty whom you would like to work with in the future. If you have any questions, please contact us or read the FAQ at http://www.ramapo.edu/honors/projects/ The honors program is working with the CCEC office to plan some honors-only service trips for next semester. We want as many students to be interested in these trips, so we need your input. Some of the possible partners we can work with are House on the Hill, Teaneck Tutoring, Habitat for Humanity, MEVO Farm Clean Up, and CUMAC Food Pantry. Out of these, which would you all be more interested in? Also, would you all prefer weekend trips or during the day? Please email aaroune@ramapo.edu and let me know which trips you are interested in. – Amy Aroune, Student Aide JOB OPENINGS: CONSULTANTS, CENTER FOR READING AND WRITING The staff of the Center for Reading and Writing (CRW) welcomes candidates to apply for the paid peer consulting positions.
