LAW AND SOCIETY MAJOR Law and Society program at Ramapo is a broad-based interdisciplinary major rooted in the liberal arts. Students study law from historical, social scientific, humanities and global perspectives. Students develop an appreciation of American legal system, socio-legal structures and issues of social justice. The Law and Society major emphasizes: Critical thinking, socio-legal research and writing. Experiential learning promoted through internship/field studies. Critical reflection on issues of our times through co-curricular activities such as SCOTUS (Supreme Court of the US), RJOLAS (Ramapo Journal of Law and Society).
