ARTICLE I - NAME

ARTICLE V – POWERS
The _______________________________________________ shall have the rights and powers:

 To determine policies and to sponsor programs and events, subject to the policies and
procedures of the Student Engagement Fund Allocation Committee (SEFAC) and Horry
Georgetown Technical College;
 To develop and adopt such by-laws as necessary provided that they do not conflict with
the elements and spirit of this competition/by-laws, the policies and procedures of
SEFAC, and the policies and procedures of Horry Georgetown Technical College;
 To organize publicize, and supervise elections of officer;
 To appoint standing and special committee;
 To publicize the policies and activities of the club to the public community; and
 To utilize the student activities fees allocated to the club per the by-laws/guidelines of the
Student Activities Fees Allocation Committee.
ARTICLE VI – MEETINGS

ARTICLE VI – AMENDMENTS
Section 1. Proposals for amendments to this Constitution/by-laws shall be announced at the
meetings and posted for two weeks prior to vote.
Section 2. A 2/3 favorable vote of quorum of the club shall be required to ratify an amendment.
