The DS18 sensor line was originally developed for the material handling industry. The DS18
family provides a base mounting option, a large output indicator, and no user adjustments;
resulting in a simple, reliable, and rugged sensor with a low level of complexity for the customer.

Sensing Modes
The DS18 offers three mounting options: side mount, M18 front barrel, and
M18 base mount.
It has a large amber output indicator. LO / DO varies by sensing mode
A new patented Wide Angle Polarized Retro (LPW) mode makes it even easier
to align the sensor to the retro-reflector.
Opposed mode (20 m) – E/R

Polarized Retro (3.5m) – LP
