LONDON’S GLOBAL UNIVERSITY ENDODONTOLOGY MClinDent / 2016/17 ENTRY www.ucl.ac.uk/graduate/eastman Endodontology MClinDent / This programme aims to develop the cognitive, psychomotor and interpersonal skills required to enable independent practice of endodontics. It is studied either full-time over two years or part-time over four years and has a strong clinical bias. Degree summary Degree structure Mode: Full-time: 2 years; Part-time: 4 years Students undertake modules to the value of 360 credits. Year one consists of core modules (135 credits) and a dissertation (30 credits). Year two consists of core modules (135 credits) and a dissertation (60 credits). Year three (Speciality/Advanced Training only) is non credit-bearing modules. The programme teaches a broad and deep understanding of endodontology, enabling students to apply appropriate clinical strategies from first principles. Mentored coaching specifically targets development of independent learning skills, to enable long-term achievement of mastery.
