ISPE has compiled a list of online tools and services to help our volunteers manage the day-today needs of the Affiliates and Chapters. This list is informational and does not constitute an
endorsement of any particular service or company. Please be sure to carefully assess any of
these resources before using them for your Affiliate/Chapter.
Tools to Help Manage
-Wave Accounting: cloud-based, integrated software tools for small businesses and
organizations, including invoicing, accounting, payroll, and payments.
-Dropbox: file hosting service that offers cloud storage, file synchronization, personal cloud, and
client software; allows users to create a special folder on each of their computers which is then
synchronized so it appears to be the same folder with the same content regardless of what
computer is used to view it.
-PamFax: online faxing service; free membership, additional fees for faxing services.
-SurveyMonkey: a web survey cloud-based service; provides free, customizable surveys as
well as a suite of paid back end programs that include data analysis, sample selection, bias
elimination, and data representation tools.
Tools to Facilitate Virtual Meetings and Events
-Any Meeting: free conferencing and webinar service that enables users to host and attend web
based conferences and meetings and share their desktop screen with other remote users via
the web.
-Free Conference Call: free conference calls with dial in numbers available from 40 countries;
dial in numbers are not toll free.
-Free Conference Calling: provides free conference calls; all callers must dial a US-based
number to access the conference call.
-Free Screen Sharing: free online meetings; uses freeconferencecall.com for audio.
-ooVoo: video chat and instant messaging service; allows registered user to communicate
through free instant messaging, voice, and video chat.
-Vyew: free web meeting platform; allows users to meet and share content in real-time; upload
images, files, documents, and videos; users can contribute at any time.
Tools to Manage Meetings and Events
-Paperless Post: free customizable electronic invitations.
-Evite: offers event planning and invites; features tracking, maps and reminders.
-Eventbrite: online ticketing service that allows event organizers to plan, set up ticket sales,
promote events and publish them across social-networks directly from the site’s interface;
enables attendees to find and purchase tickets to these events.
-Poll Everywhere: online service for audience response systems; allows audience to use mobile
phones to answer polls.
-Doodle: free scheduling tool; create group event polls for scheduling events.
Blast Email Providers
-Mail Chimp: email marketing service provider; free for small volume use.
-Constant Contact: an online marketing company that offers email marketing, social media
marketing, online survey, event marketing, digital storefronts, and local deals tools; monthly fee;
discount for nonprofit organizations
