FRT-Perform a variety of paraprofessional counseling duties such as answering routine questions at a
walk-in counter, administering subjectively scored tests for determining aptitudes, interests,
abilities and achievement, and peer counseling in a counseling office or as part of the counseling
component of a specially funded program.
Qualifications: Student status in an upper division or graduate student in counseling or a related
field at an accredited four year college or university. Employment limitation: 6 years unless
evidence is provided which demonstrates the student is deligently pursuing the attainment of an
academic degree.
Police Cadet I

minimum of 24 units of a directed course of study. Employment limitation: 5 years.
