Disruptive Conduct in the Classroom
If you believe a student’s behavior is inappropriate, consider a
general word of caution. Try to speak to the student after class and
make sure that the student understands why his/her behavior is
disruptive. If the student’s behavior reaches the point that it
interferes with the classroom environment, the student should be
asked to leave the class. The student should be provided with a
reason for this action and given an opportunity to discuss the
matter as soon as possible. When you dismiss a student from your
class, fill out an incident report online.
