Be proud of his/her role as a fitness and health promotion professional. 2. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary for effective, efficient and ethical fitness and health promotion practice in the following spheres of learning: i. Assessment of fitness, well-being and lifestyle ii. Prescription of appropriate physical activity, fitness, active living and lifestyle programs iii. Reassessment/evaluation of outcomes and modification of intervention as appropriate iv. Individuals training and group instruction in exercise and physical activity v. Development of community health promotion strategies 3. Demonstrate competencies supportive of collaborative practice for care delivery and team effectiveness. 4. Exhibit sound verbal and written communication skills and professional behaviour with clients, families and members of the health care team, to enhance client care and team effectiveness. 5. Demonstrate practice in accordance with requirements related to infection control and safety in the clinical environment. 6. Have excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills. 7.
