In this free, threehour workshop, discover lively, interdisciplinary activities that help students understand the human ecological footprint and the challenges of sharing finite natural resources as demand grows. Engage in role-playing simulations, problemsolving challenges and critical thinking exercises and build students’ knowledge and skills in math, science and social studies. Teachers will receive classroom-ready curricula that emphasizes hands-on learning and balanced discussion of different viewpoints. All activities are matched to state and national standards.
