SUPPORTING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDS FROM
THE RIVER VALLEY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY’S COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
TO RECAPITALIZE THE MICROENTERPRISE REVOLVING LOAN FUND
WHEREAS, funds are available from the River Valley Redevelopment Agency’s (RVRA)
Community Development and Environmental Improvement Program (CD-EIP) for projects that will
support and advance community development, environmental improvement and employment
opportunities, and
WHEREAS, the St. Lawrence County Local Development Corporation (SLCLDC) administers a
Micro-Enterprise Revolving Loan Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Micro-Enterprise Revolving Loan Fund is in need of recapitalization,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Lawrence County Local Development
Corporation does hereby support an application to RVRA CD-EIP and hereby authorizes, subject to
review by the SLCLDC Attorney where required:

SLCLDC staff to prepare the application and to perform other necessary activities in order to
secure funds;

Payment of the $100 non-refundable application fee;

Should the funds be awarded, the Chief Executive Officer of the SLCLDC to sign the necessary
documentation and contract for administration, upon approval of the SLCLDC Attorney, and the
SLCLDC staff to engage in requisite activities to secure and administer funds as may be required.
