AUTHORIZING A GRANT OF $15,750 TO ABLAN’S BUSINESS CENTER, INC.
WHEREAS, the St. Lawrence County Local Development Corporation administers the
St. Lawrence County Microenterprise Grant Program, and
WHEREAS, Ablan’s Business Center, Inc. has applied for $25,000 for the purchase of
inventory and for working capital to support the business of Ablan’s Business Center, Inc. in
Gouverneur, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Lawrence County Local
Development Corporation agrees to grant an amount not to exceed $15,750 from the
Microenterprise Grant Program to Ablan’s Business Center, Inc., and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said grant shall be subject to the following terms
and conditions:
 Agreement to meet with the Small Business Development Center on a regularly
scheduled basis to discuss current business operation.
 The owner/applicant meets the Low-Moderate- Income criteria, therefore is not
required to create any additional jobs.
 Subject to opinion of Counsel, applicant may be required to provide evidence of
public liability insurance coverage in an amount to be determined by Counsel.
 Evidence of owner’s cash/equity of $14,300.
 Evidence of Loan from GADC in the amount of $25,000.
