AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO OGDENSBURG BRIDGE & PORT AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, in general, the purpose of the St. Lawrence County Industrial Development
Agency (the “SLCIDA”) is to promote, develop and encourage the acquisition, construction,
improvements, maintenance and equipping of industrial, manufacturing and commercial facilities
and thereby advance job opportunities, health, general prosperity and the economic welfare of the
citizens of St. Lawrence County and the North Country, and
WHEREAS, the SLCIDA is empowered to do all things necessary and convenient to carry
out its purposes and exercise its powers, and
WHEREAS, the Ogdensburg Bridge & Port Authority is a public benefit corporation
having, among its powers the ability to develop transportation facilities, and to accept grants from
the State of New York or the agencies or instrumentalities of the State of New York and to expend
those proceeds for the purposes of the Ogdensburg Bridge & Port Authority,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Lawrence County Industrial
Development Agency does hereby authorize a payment of $10,000 to the Ogdensburg Bridge &
Port Authority to be used in a manner consistent with its purposes and powers and for the benefit
of the public.
