R. Joseph Weekes, Jr.
R. Joseph Weekes, Jr. was appointed to
the Board of the St. Lawrence County
Industrial Development Agency in July
2006.
He serves on the IDA’s Governance
Committee and on its Audit/Finance
Committee.
He is the owner of the Weekes Agency,
located in Gouverneur, New York, and
brings an extensive background in
insurance and business.
“Joe” is a graduate of SUNY Canton and assumed ownership of the
insurance agency in 1995. He is a member of the Gouverneur Elks Club,
the Gouverneur Historical Association and the Gouverneur Reading Room.
Joe resides in Gouverneur.
His current term on the IDA Board expires in August 2018.
