Guidelines for homework
• Please attempt all problems, but you are only required to hand in the even
numbered ones.
• Show your work. This does not mean that you include your rough, it means
that after solving the problem you write up the solution.
• Staple your homework sheets together. Failure to do so will result in a points
penalty.
• The marking scheme is as follows: 3 marks for the answer with complete reasoning, 2 marks for complete reasoning but wrong answer, 1 mark for some work
leading up to the answer.
