Related legislation
With the entry into force of the new international manuals there is a need to adapt a number of legal
instruments associated with the compilation of statistics to the new requirements.
Some of the already revised relevant legal instruments for the development, production and release
of statistics by Banco de Portugal are as follows.
- Guideline of the ECB/2013/24, on the statistical reporting requirements of the European Central
Bank in the field of quarterly financial accounts.
- Guideline of the ECB/2013/23 on government finance statistics.
- Guideline of the ECB/2013/25 amending Guideline ECB/2011/23.
- Guideline of the ECB/2011/23 on the statistical reporting requirements of the European
Central Bank in the field of external statistics.
- Commission Regulation (EU) No 555/2012 on Community statistics concerning balance of
payments, international trade in services and foreign direct investment, as regards the update
of data requirements and definitions.
