and/or request a waiver from the MPA Program’s internship/practicum
requirement for the following reasons:

with a governmental or nongovernmental organization.
† I received a fellowship and work for a government/nonprofit organization in a
capacity similar to internship/practicum experience.
† I worked on a grant or research project in a capacity similar to internship/practicum
with a governmental or nongovernmental organization.
† I have been accepted to a post-graduate fellowship program (e.g., city management
training program, Presidential Management Intern, Sea Grant Fellowship, etc.) that
will provide a comparable internship/practicum experience after I graduate.
