This two-day workshop highlights a wide ranging look at coastal processes including longshore transport, wave energy, erosion, barrier island migration, and ecosystem health as a whole. A discussion of the impacts of storms, storm surge, sea level change, beach re-nourishment, and hardening of the shoreline will also be featured. This workshop will take place in a UNCW classroom as well as in the field. Historical and current data, along with projections for the future will be provided.
