I WANT TO CHANGE MY MAJOR TO COMMUNICATION STUDIES AND I HAVE NOT TAKEN COM 105 – INTRODUCTION TO COMMUNICATION STUDIES INSTRUCTIONS & INFORMATION Gateway COM 105 – Introduction to Communication Studies – must earn a “B” or better COM 200 – Research Methods – must earn a “B” or better (CSC 105 is a pre-requisite) INSTRUCTIONS 1. Take COM 105 and earn a “B” or better in the course. If you have completed at least 65 hours see Ms. Tammy Bulger during pre-registration advising. 2. Ms. Bulger posts pre-registration advising hours for those who desire to change their major outside her office (LH 239). 3. The semester you take COM 105 you will need to declare your PCOM major the last two weeks of class. a. Use the on-line Major Declaration/Curricular Change link on MySeaPort. 4. Register for COM 200 and earn a “B” or better.
