Financial Services Division Report Description Report Name Report Number Tuition Revenue Graduate Students 4702 Report Description/Purpose This report provides a summary of total tuition assessed to all students in the Graduate Studies level and is sorted by degree and major and includes the Student names and ID Numbers. If the graduate student is also registered in undergraduate courses, the tuition assessment for those courses is included in this report. Review reports for reasonableness. Intended Audience Financial Managers. Report Availability This report is updated quarterly (August 1, November 1, February 1 and May 1). Quarterly reports are retained during the current and prior fiscal year. The year end report dated May 1 is retained for 10 years. Report Elements This report is summarized by Degree and Major and is further sorted by Term (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter); Full time or part time status; domestic or international student and automatic or manual fee assessment. A listing of students with their Banner ID and student name is the last level in the report. Degree Type of degree: Doctoral, Master’s (Course, Project or Thesis), Post-Graduate Diploma, Post Grad Degree Special Certificate Course and Undeclared. Major Declared major area of study. Registered Students This represents the total number of unique students listed in all terms of the report. For example, if there were 100 students registered in all of the four terms, the total registered students would be 100. Registered student totals include students who fully withdraw as most graduate programs require students to maintain registration in all terms until they complete all degree requirements. Assessed Students This represents the total number of unique students with tuition assessment in all terms of the report. All Tuition Categories Financial Services Division Report Description The amount of total tuition assessed including manually assessed tuition and differential tuition and excluding tuition re-assessments. Manual Assessment Total of the manually assessed tuition. Graduate students who were enrolled prior to May 1, 2005 are manually assessed tuition at a different rate. The amount reported in this column is included in the All Tuition Categories. Tuition Re-Assessment Total of tuition fees that have been re-assessed. Tuition may be reassessed by the College of Graduate Studies & Research if a student completes their program prior to the end of a term or by SESD under the Fee Appeal Policy. The amount reported in this column is included in the All Tuition Categories. Differential Tuition Amount of all differential tuition that has been assessed for Graduate students registered in undergraduate classes. The amount of differential tuition is based on the number of international students registered in an undergraduate class and the differential factor for the course. The Differential tuition for undergraduate international students is assessed at an additional 1.6 times the base tuition with some exceptions.
