Lejeune Education Center – Room 121 - 825 Stone Street - 910-962-TEST (8378) __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The DANTES Subject Standardized Test ® (DSST) gives you the opportunity to receive college credit for what you already know by earning qualifying scores on any of 37 examinations in four subject areas. Students who earn credits through DSST tend to complete their degrees at a higher rate than students who do not earn credit-by-examination. All DSST tests are computer-based and last approximately 2 hours. Testing is available for anyone authorized to access MCB Camp Lejeune and is FREE, one time, per test for all eligible military personnel. Registration and Payment Process Registration: 1. 2. 3. 4. Register for DSST tests online at www.uncw.edu/onslow/testing.html Active duty - select the “DSST - Military Personnel Only” registration tab to schedule for a DSST exam Pay registration fee, if required ($28.00). Payment for the DSST test Pay the exam fee ($80), if required, with a CREDIT CARD only on your testing day in the testing center. Lejeune Education Center, 825 Stone Street, in Room 121. Testing Day 1. Provide the test proctor with two (2) forms of current identification (e.g. military I.D., driver’s license, passport with photo and signature). The name on both forms must be identical. 2. Provide the test proctor with the registration/payment verification receipt created during the registration and payment process. 3. Lockers are provided to securely store personal belongings which are not permitted in the testing center. 4. In accordance with mandatory base dress code policies, appropriate attire is required when testing. Test Scores 1. You may designate one institution to receive a free copy of your score report. The score recipient code can be found http://getcollegecredit.com/institutions/search. Your school should have the score report in about 3-4 weeks. 2.
