UNCW MARBIONC - Request for Proposals



Project Scope:
o
This project will be the development of a 68,000+/- sqft facility located on the UNCW
CMS Millennial Campus. A site map is available at the following link associated with the

o
Approximately 60% of the building will house university research operations with
remaining 40% to be commercial laboratory lease space.
o
The laboratory systems will include water, power, communications, salt water, air,
bottled gases and/or other systems as determined to be necessary.
o
The design will incorporate all supporting infrastructure and systems for the operation
of this facility.
o
The project construction delivery method has not been finalized.

Submission Guidelines:
o
Indicate your firm’s recent, relative laboratory design experience on the SF 254.
o
List all proposed consultant’s of the design team.
o
Proposals are limited to a single email with a maximum size of seven (7) MB; the SF 254
file size counts toward the total 7MB file size).
o
Title the subject line for the submission as follows: UNCW MARBIONC Design
Submission – Firm Name (substitute your firms name)
o
Please review the instructions carefully; due to the sheer number of firms expected to
submit proposals, we will not guarantee that any/all additional correspondence can/will
be addressed. If you have questions that are not addressed in any of the available
documents, submit a separate email to the same address FacilitiesACS@uncw.edu with
the subject line as follows: UNCW MARBIONC RFI. We will address these as quickly as
possible. If the answer needs to be posted for all, we will update this page. Check the
web site frequently for updates prior to your submission.

The FacilitiesACS@uncw.edu does not automatically generate a delivered/read receipt.
We will respond to each correctly titled submission with notification that your file was
received. Please be patient and allow one (1) business day for this acknowledgement.
