Highlights can include current research, special projects, a college update, and successes. Tours will last approximately 30 minutes. Archives Exhibit 114 DiGiorgio Campus Center Come enjoy a look into Winthrop’s history as the Archives Department displays some of our campus’ most treasured pieces from its past. Rock Climbing Wall 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. West Center Come test your rock climbing skills at our 36-foot climbing wall featuring both manual and auto belay systems. Billiards and Ping-Pong Tournament 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. DiGiorgio Campus Center Recreational Area Show off your family’s skills in the Billiards and Ping-Pong tournament. Participants must sign-up during Registration and Check-in to participate. Are you game? Dinner on your Own 5 – 7 p.m. Thomson/Markleys or Local Restaurants Enjoy dinner with your student on or off campus, their choice. (See handout in Family Day Packet for suggestions and local restaurants who offer a Family Day discount.) Evening Activities SCarowinds Halloween Haunt 7 p.m. Carowinds Terror is coming to Carowinds. Haunted mazes and scary rides await you during SCarowinds only at Carowinds, The Thrill Capital of the Southeast. Families must have preregistered to obtain the Family Day discounted SCarowinds ticket rate of $35 per person. Times vary DSU Event - “Win Grant’s Money” Game Show. 8 - 9 p.m. DiGiorgio Campus Center- Richardson Ballroom Whose Line Is It Anyway? Double Dare! American Idol…if these three popular programs had a baby, Grant Edmonds’ high energy Variety Game Show would be it! This Variety Show is full of improvisation, goofy games, and of course, judges!
