Check-In
Students will check in and receive their nametags and
information packets. Students MUST attend check-in to be
advised and register for courses.
Advising
Students will meet with representatives from Student Services
and/or their departments to discuss expectations of students
in the major, as well as courses they plan to take in the fall
semester.
Course Registration
Students will register for fall 2016 courses. Representatives
from each College will be on hand to answer questions.

Listed below are items that need to be completed before beginning classes in August. Some of these items may be
completed when you are on campus and some will be completed at a later date.

Have your Winthrop ID made (15 Tillman Hall). The ID office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Submit immunization forms to Health Services if you have not already mailed in these records (217 Crawford
Building).

If you plan to live on campus and have not already signed up online, visit the Residence Life Office (237
DiGiorgio Campus Center) to register for housing and a meal plan. Residential students can find your PO Box
information on Wingspan at http://wingspan.winthrop.edu.

Commuter students who wish to purchase a meal plan should visit the Dining Services office in 112 Thomson
Hall.

Register for your campus parking permit online at http://asap.winthrop.edu/permits using your Wingspan log-in
information. Please note that registration will be available in late July.

All tuition and fees must be paid (Cashiers Office- 22 Tillman Hall) or a payment plan must be established
(Student Financial Services- 21 Tillman Hall) to avoid cancellation of your class schedule. Please note that this
cannot be completed until AFTER registering for your classes.


on requirements and upcoming events.



Get ready for Welcome Week 2016, August 19-28! Move-in for residential students is Friday, August 19 from 7
a.m. – 3 p.m. More information on Welcome Week will be available at the beginning of August on the Welcome
