Program Overview
April in Europe is a cutting-edge academic program that allows you to spend a
semester completing courses that fulfill University Studies requirements while
living in Europe for four weeks during the spring semester. Study popular culture,
history, literature, and sociology in an international setting. All courses begin at
UNCW, are taught by UNCW faculty, and are based on explorations beyond the
classroom. We begin along the Rhine River in Bonn, Germany, and we travel
to Cologne, Berlin, and Prague as part of the academic program. All program
excursions are covered in your program costs. And there will be ample time for
you to travel to other European destinations on your own.
