Contemporary Students learn data mining techniques for dealing with big data and explore options for streamlining Veterans’ health records. Data Mining Techniques Working with External Partners Foreign Market International Marketing students get first-hand Consulting experience acting as consultants for a business looking Writing for Local Business Enhancing Student Internships to expand into foreign markets Professional Writing students worked with a local Wilmington Restaurant as their client and created a website, menu, and advertising for them. UNCW’s Certified Internship Program (CIP) helps students gain skills and enhance their classroom experiences and knowledge through a guided Internship • Funding for deeper and richer AL experiences • Research and data regarding effectiveness of AL as a form of teaching • Workshops, resources, and events for students, instructors, and staff • Support for teachers and students taking part in Applied Learning What does Applied Learning look like?
