Bringing ‘Bach’ Music To Local Schools
Musicians from Queens College will be performing free classical music concerts at
public schools across Queens this spring through a program titled “Bach to School.” As
noted, the performing arts initiative was launched by Queens College English literature
professor Maxine Fisher, who believes in expanding musical education in primary and
secondary schools. Fisher (standing at center) is pictured flanked by (from left to right)
