Scholarships are available for every higher education school, and criteria isn’t always based on your GPA! Some awards are based on the major you plan to enter, your gender, organizations that your parents might belong to, nationality or race, even your economic background. Each college usually has MANY scholarships available for their students. The best advice is to apply to as many that you think you qualify for, and make sure you submit before the deadlines! Also, many applications are rejected because they’re incomplete, creating a check list to ensure that you turn in everything necessary only takes a few moments and the pay off can be huge. One of our Alumni, Samantha Kelly (2013 graduate), applied for around 50 scholarships! She received 27 worth a total of $23,000! Way to go Sam! ACT Challenge!
