and to succeed.”
Ewing Kauffman
It’s hard to believe we’re getting ready for the Spring Workshop and Summer Session! Time goes by so
fast that it’s important to recap some issues:
1) March 1, 2013 is the deadline for the required signature forms: Authorization to Provide Grade
Report form; Parent/Student contract form; UWSP Camp Health form (make sure both sides are
completed, as necessary); Photograph, Video, Audio, and Swimming General Release form; and, the
Agreement for Assumption of Risk, Indemnification, Release, and Consent for Emergency Treatment form.
2) Make sure you’re working on your Monthly Activity Reports, the next one is due April 5,
2013. If you fill it out every week, you won’t be scrambling to get it done at the last minute...

ACT Challenge
Have you been thinking about what you want to go to school for? If you don’t have a single idea,
or many...now’s the time to start researching how long it will take to get a degree, which schools
offer the program/s, etc.
Take the PLAN (pre-Act) Test if you haven’t done so already! The pre-test will give you an idea of
what areas you need to improve on (if any), the format of the ACT and the length.
Juniors

Start studying for the ACT and register for it!

Start to request information from three (or more) colleges of your choice. Because the more
information you have from a variety of schools, the better prepared you are for choosing.
Seniors

3
Take Placement Tests in March! The university you have been admitted to will send you information on where and when to take placement tests, if your enrollment deposit has been paid.

Keep your grades up! Your admission is ALWAYS tentative until
your final high school transcript is sent to your college.
