The chair is appointed by the AAC chair in consultation with the AAC for a two-year term. The chair may be reappointed but may serve no more than two consecutive
terms. With the exception of the student representative (one-year term), all DRS members are appointed by college deans and serve staggered terms of two years.
Among the faculty representatives there will be a minimum of two graduate faculty. (9 members/5 needed for quorum)
