c. Jasmine Richards- worked at Agape Senior Care Center… talked one on one with elderly

a. Dance and theater department… advocate dance and encourage students to come to the shows
b. Working on Zinc, the theatre show, notecards for the cast cost $1
c. Planning 2 flash mobs, help out with backstage in musicals
d. Participating in a conference and Charlotte Dance Festival
e. Janay Reece- participants? Anyone is welcome to join, but currently mainly dance majors
f. Nora Webb- number of members? 18
g. Jarvais Jackson- Dance organizations? Theater honors fraternity, swing club, more classic ballet type dance

Presentation from Athletic Engagement- Survey Results…. Michelle Slaughter
a. Presented statistical data from the survey based on demographics, attendance frequencies, why or
why not they attend, ideas for how to promote athletic events, school spirit/pride, favorite
sporting events, tickets and shuttles, football, tuition concerns associated with football, and
student section placement

 DSU president wants to be involved in planning and funding

 Jarvais ordered cups for BYOC cups on November 5 th and 7th during homecoming get a cup and get a
discount for drinks on those two days


CSL Comes to You debriefing
 November 11th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the campus green, 5 tables, take shifts, there will be a Voter’s
Registration Fair with music and food and information about Voter ID law, Voter’s spectrum test, etc.
 Do another CSL comes to you in the spring

a. Had interviews last Friday allocated: $6,135.29 remaining: $31,864.71
b. Have organizations submit applications
c. Organizations can be reimbursed for up to $75.00 without applications

a. Pep rally Friday November 8th 5-6 p.m. in the amphitheater… Mashario and Ray Singleton will
be the hosts

a. Happened last Thursday
b. What will CSL do next about tabacco/smoke free proposal?

d. We have to create another survey with a large number of participants to respond… do a paper survey as
