Program Overview
If you decide to pursue a Bachelor of Science in
exercise science, you will gain sound academic
preparation in the science of human movement.
You will acquire job task analyses (JTA’s) related to
the theoretical and practical components of exercise
science theory and practice. Graduates of the exercise
science program (EXSC) are leaders in the promotion
and maintenance of health, physical activity and fitness within their workplace and community settings.
Many enroll in further study in exercise physiology
or allied health graduate professional programs. The
proposed curriculum will allow students to complete
prerequisites required for most physical therapy, occupational therapy and physician assistant programs.
