As an INTERN at Legal Atlas, I
agree with the following:

I will have the opportunity to define, together with Legal Atlas, the
tasks most suitable to my education and interests.
I understand that my internship hours and locations are flexible and I
will have the opportunity to best fit my weekly committment based on
my academic schedule. I understand that in order to participate in the
program I will need to have access to a computer and to the Internet
and that Legal Atlas will not be providing them.
I understand that I will receive general acknowledgment in the Legal
Atlas website as an intern and contributor to the overall project. In
the event I contribute to published documents, I will be also acknowledged as a co-author. Upon successful completion of my work at Legal
Atlas, I will receive a letter of recommendation.
My contributions to Legal Atlas when writing analyses or reports will
be based on my sole authorship and I will be not infringing or violating any copyright, trade secret, trademark, patent, invention, or other
proprietary or personal right of any third party.
I irrevocably assign to Legal Atlas the exclusive right, title, and interest in copyrights and other intellectual property rights in any work
and material developed by myself under this agreement. The rights
assigned to Legal Atlas by me include all United States and foreign
copyrights, all copyrights under any treaties, conventions, proclamations or the like, and all renewals, extensions or continuations thereof;
all artistic and literary property rights; all moral rights; and all rights
to apply for or obtain any registration certificates for copyright in
Legal Atlas’s name.

I will treat all Legal Atlas proprietary information with the same
standard of care that I use in maintaining my own confidential and
proprietary information, and I will not be negligent in administrating LA information.
I understand that I am not a regular employee of Legal Atlas, that
my work will not replace the work of regular employees. I understand that this is a un-paid volunteer position for educational
purposes only, associated with academic research in international
law and policy. I have not been offered nor I am entitled to wages
for the time spent at Legal Atlas, nor are there any expectations or
offers of a job at the conclusion of the internship.
I understand that Legal Atlas will not be providing health coverage for me. I acknowledge existing risks of illness, personal injury,
detainment, or death, or damage to or theft of my property when
performing my volunteer work.
I understand that my participation on LA may be terminated at any
time by the LA team or by me.
